Jarem Curtis Hallows, 33, passed away on November 26, 2018, in Lehi, UT. He was born on April 25, 1985, to Bret Curtis Hallows and Lisa Rene Crandall in Mesa, AZ.
Jarem married Camilla Mae Dickson on December 29, 2006, in the Washington D.C. Temple. Family was the focus of his life. He loved his wife and five wonderful children. He was a devoted son, brother, uncle, and friend. He served others faithfully and loved the Gospel of Jesus Christ, influencing untold thousands for good during his life. He was a gift-radiant, hopeful, and caring.
Jarem and Camilla both served an LDS mission in Puerto Rico and he developed an abiding love for the people there, organizing a recent fundraiser to assist in hurricane relief efforts. He was thrilled that his brother Reed followed in his footsteps and currently serves as a missionary in Puerto Rico.
Jarem loved taking trips, especially to Wrigley Field to see his beloved Cubs. He loved sunflower seeds, hanging at the pool or beach, and spending time with his children. He was an intimate father and loved watching gymnastics, jiu jitsu, dance, or whatever else his daughters and sons enjoyed.
Jarem told his loved ones that he defeated cancer
by courageously enduring it well
. Through his dignity and grace, he strengthened the faith of every person who supported him during his difficult journey. He gave them hope that they could likewise endure hard things.
Jarem is survived by his wife Camilla; his children, Sofie, Lucy, King, Whitney, and Roman; his parents, Bret and Lisa; his parents-in-law, Mark and Melody Dickson; his siblings, Lauren Davis, Ari Bond, Dallyn Hallows, and Reed Hallows; and his grandparents, James and Jackie Crandall.
