Jared Grant Keller, a devoted husband, loving father, and dedicated law enforcement officer, peacefully passed away on January 20, 2024, at the age of 75. He was Born on December 29, 1948, in his hometown of American Fork, UT. Jared was the son of Jared T Keller and Bernadine Fagan Keller. Jared's greatest joy in life came from his marriage to his beloved wife, Roberta Thompson Keller. On September 11, 1973, they exchanged vows in a beautiful ceremony at the Provo Temple, solidifying a lifelong partnership that stood the test of time.
Jared spent the majority of his career in the honorable role of a law enforcement officer, faithfully serving his community. His commitment to justice and safety was unparalleled, and he became a respected figure in the government industry. Outside of work, Jared had an adventurous spirit that was ignited by his love for the outdoors. He found solace in activities such as hunting, camping, fishing, and horseback riding. He was an accomplished gunsmith, skilled in the art of archery, and had a deep passion for riding his beloved Harley Davidson motorcycle.
Jared will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his wife, Roberta Thompson Keller, as well as his 5 children: Tara (Neal) Evans, Jared (Jenny) Keller, Ryan (Naomi) Keller, Colt Keller, and Jodi (Brayde) Phelps. His legacy carries on through his twelve cherished grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He also leaves behind his two sisters, Joan Carson and Debra (David) Roquemore.
A graveside service to honor Jared's memory will be held on Wednesday, January 24, 2024, at 2:00 pm at the Lehi City Cemetery, located at 1525 N 600 E. This service will be a time to reflect on Jared's life, to share cherished memories, and to offer support to his grieving family.
