Janice Bouche

Our dear friend, Janice Bouche, 59, passed away peacefully on August 6, 2021. She was born on October 6, 1961, in Allegany County, Pennsylvania.

Janice lived with a foster family from birth to 1968, Developmental Center 1968-1986 and Lindon Care Center 1986 to 1988. Danville Services has had the pleasure and honor of serving her since 1988, thirty-three years!

Janice was the life of the party. She loved music and dances. At any dance you would find her right next to the speakers dancing to beat of her own drum. Her favorite song was “Ice Ice Baby.”  No matter her mood, she would still dance and sing when that song came on. Janice had colorful language and she thought it was funny (so did we at times). Janice had a love for Coca Cola, cows, playing cards, books, coloring and chocolate pudding. She was very affectionate. She would love to hold your hand and kiss it.

Janice loved to go to work. One of her favorite jobs was when she worked in a hotel and made beds. She would make her bed every day, even on vacation. She had the corners tucked in perfect and the bedding was always smooth. Janice was also employed at Summit Employment, NES and Danville Services throughout her life.

She is survived by her best friend, MaryKay Chaus and many more people who loved her unconditionally. She is proceeded in death by her boyfriend Randy Packard and many friends.

Janice taught so many of us that you don’t have to be blood to be family. We were her family, and she was ours. She taught so many of us to laugh and love unconditionally. Janice, you have done more for us then we could have ever done for you. We love you Bouche!

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 11, 2021, at 11:00 A.M. at Anderson and Sons Mortuary, 49 East 100 North, American Fork. A viewing will be held prior from 9:45 to 10:45 A.M. at the mortuary. Interment at Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
