Janeal J. Call, a devoted mother and wife, peacefully passed away at her home surrounded by her children and extended family on January 20, 2024. Born on January 24, 1946, in Preston, Idaho, to Vera Jane and Deloss Hansen, Janeal's life was characterized by love and selflessness.
Janeal graduated from BYU with a degree in Speech Pathology, and it was during this time that she met her sweetheart, Lynn Call. He was smitten by the former Miss Franklin County and they were married in the Salt Lake City Temple and shared 56 years of love and companionship. They are now joyfully reunited again.
After completing her education, Janeal dedicated her life in service to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served in various capacities, including as a seminary teacher, temple worker, Primary president, and Relief Society president. Her commitment to her faith was a guiding light in her life, and her service touched the hearts of many.
Her greatest joy was raising her five children and spoiling her 13 grandchildren who held a special place in their hearts for their beloved Grammy. Always putting others' needs before her own, Janeal was the true example of motherhood.
Janeal J. Call leaves behind a legacy of love, compassion, and faith. Her memory will forever be engraved in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know and love her.
A memorial service to celebrate Janeal's life will be held on January 29th, 2024, at Moyle Park LDS Chapel (1125 E Alpine Blvd, Alpine, UT 84004) at 11:00 AM with a viewing before from 9:45-10:45 AM.
