Jack Vogl

Jack Frank Vogl, 86, of American Fork, passed away surrounded by his family March 20, 2020.  Born January 7, 1934 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin the son of John Louis Vogl and Edna Louise Stephan.  Jack married Celia Louise Winters June 26, 1954 she preceded him in death June 13, 2000.  He later married Joyce Stradling April 21, 2001 in the Mt.  Timpanogos Temple.

Jack served as a policeman and homicide detective for the Milwaukee Police Department for over 30 years.  He loved his family and spending time with them.  He was a voracious reader who loved music and walking.  Jack served his church in many callings and loved serving as a temple worker serving in the Chicago Temple, and as a Sealer in the Denver, and Mt. Timpanogos Temples.

He is survived by his family, wife Joyce, children:  Michael (Peri) Vogl, Daniel (Deena) Vogl, Steve (LaVon) Vogl, Lisa (Dave) Gardner, John (Julie) Vogl, Tim Vogl, Peter (Annie) Vogl, Shauna (Mark) Smith, David (Margo) Worthen, John (Shammah) Worthen, Dennis (Jennifer) Moxon, 61 grandchildren, 82 great grandchildren and two brothers Robert and William Vogl.  He is preceded in death by his parents and his wife Celia.   Private family services will be held Friday, March 27, 2020.
