Grace bishop

Grace Stahmann Bishop, age 97, passed away peacefully in her sleep on November 6, 2014. Grace had a very comfortable last several years living initially with her daughter Katie and finally at a wonderful assisted living home in Mesa, AZ.
She was the daughter of Lydia and Ben Stahmann and was born on April 12, 1917 in Spanish Fork, UT where she was raised. Grace was preceded in death by four brothers and a sister.She married Harold W. Bishop, now deceased, on December 19, 1941 in Salt Lake City, Utah. They had 6 children, Harold Bishop (Jeanene), Katie Bishop Brock, Gayle Bishop Bangerter (Cory), John Bishop (Susan Takemoto), Bob Bishop ( Connie), and Rick Bishop(Nancy). She was also blessed with 22 grandchildren and many great and great great grandchildren as well.
Grace graduated from the Utah State University with a degree in home economics. She taught school for many years. She loved helping her family and was active in the LDS church where she held many callings. She was a talented organist in both Ray, and Kearney, AZ.
Funeral services will be held at Anderson and Sons Mortuary, 6141 West 11000 North Highland, UT 84003 on Saturday, November 15 2014 with a viewing at 9:30 A.M. and services at 11:00A.M.. Interment will be at the Spanish Fork Cemetery at 2:30 P.M.. All friends and family are invited to attend. In lieu of flowers, please contribute to the LDS Humanitarian Fund.
