Gloria Wall Steele 1946-2022
Our Beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Sister, and Friend, left this earth on September 29th, 2022 and the world lost a true Angel.
Gloria was born on March 6th, 1946 in Heber City, Utah, to Clyde and Julia (Ercanbrack) Wall. She was the oldest of four children. She graduated from Wasatch High School in 1964. After graduation Gloria moved to Salt Lake where she attended LDS business college. She lived with her dear friend Trudy Wilson in the Avenues. Following her college education, Gloria married Steven Lees, they were blessed with two wonderful sons; Brian and Justin. They later divorced. In October of 1986, Gloria met the love of her life Michael Steele along with his son, William. Michael and Gloria were married May 22, 1987. Gloria loved all things beautiful. She was very talented at floral design and loved making quilts for everyone she knew. She was a beautiful seamstress and often times would design her own patterns. Gloria loved to go camping and fishing; one of her favorite summer activities was the family water party. Spending time with family brought her the greatest joy. She attended countless sporting events and music performances, she was the best cheerleader.
Gloria is survived by her husband, Michael, children, Brian (Roxi) Lees of Enoch, UT. Justin (Jamie) Lees of American Fork, UT. William (Sarah) Steele of American Fork, UT. Her sister Judy (Alan) Cottle, brothers Dale (Becky) Wall, Dean (Phyllis) Wall. Brothers in law, Ralph (Mary Ann) Steele, Terry (Sheryl) Steele, and sisters in law, Judy Averett, Sally (Joe) Nielson, Marsha Therrien, BethAnn (Roger) Jones, Brenda (Mike) Norman, and Valarie Scarpino. 15 grandchildren, 12 great grand children, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Gloria was proceeded in death by her parents, Clyde and Julia Wall, and grandson Zachary Lees.
A viewing will be held on Wednesday, October 5th, 2022 from 6-8 pm at Anderson & Sons Mortuary 6141 West Timpanogos Highway, Highland, UT.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, October 6th, 2022 at 11:00 am at the Highland 31st Ward Chapel 5335 West 11200 North, Highland, UT with a viewing that same morning from 9:30-10:45 am.
