Gloria Gordon

Gloria Gordon, a devoted Mother, cherished Grandmother, Sister and Aunt, passed away on August 17, 2024, at the Age of 84. Born in Harrisonburg Louisiana on June 13, 1940, to James and Ella Wright. Gloria led a fulfilling life dedicated to her family and Career.

Gloria had a successful career working for the Federal Government, retiring as a Budget Analyst, receiving many awards and accommodations. She was given the opportunity to be stationed in Germany where she enjoyed traveling with friends and family, exploring most of Europe.

Gloria was an avid reader giving her pleasure and seeking new knowledge. She also enjoyed searching through antique stores and thrift stores for her next treasure. Her greatest joy was found caring for her grandchildren, great nephews and great niece. She was always willing to help others when they were in need.

She is survived by her son Mike (Martine) Gordon, grandson Mathieu Gordon, her sisters Linda (Robert) Ted ford and Barbara Wright. She is Predeceased in death by her parents, son Glen Gordon, grand Daughter Katherine Gordon and her Great Nephew Devon Brooks.

We will be holding a Celebration of Life for Gloria on September 7th from 9:30 am – 1:00 pm at the American Fork Senior Center.
