Garth Booth

Garth Melvon Booth, 42, passed away peacefully in his sleep November 11, 2017. He was born January 21, 1975 in Provo, Utah to Gary and Sharra (Peterson) Booth.
Throughout his life, he was challenged with mental and physical disabilities. However, he graduated from Springville High School and went on to receive his A.S. and B.S. degrees from Utah Valley University (UVU). He was a member of the distinguished Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society and finished his degrees in Behavioral Science at UVU with High Honors. He was also an Eagle Scout.
Garth loved the Lord, the Book of Mormon, family, children, lifelong learning, physical fitness, and his animals. He was a beloved uncle, who shared his magical world of fantasy, creativity and imagination with his nieces and nephews.
He will be missed by all who knew him...and especially his nieces and nephews.
He is survived by his parents and siblings: Tanna Kay (Russell) Johnson, Gary (Kathy) Booth, Tarra Lee (Dave Anderson), Tammi (Todd Mitchell), Terri (Glazier Ward), 15 nieces and nephews and 11 Great nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Saturday November 18, 2017 at 11:00 am in the Larson Park LDS Church Building located at 9620 North 6050 West, Highland, Utah 84003. A family visitation will be held from 10:00 to 10:45 am. Burial will be in the Provo Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, we kindly ask that donations be made on behalf of Garth to: Prevent Child abuse Utah at www.pcautah.org.
