Fred Lynn Burningham, 69, passed away on March 25, 2016 in Highland. Born February 27, 1947 in San Diego, California to Cecil Ivan and Ethel Matilda Jensen Burningham. He married Karen Finlayson on April 16, 1988 in the LDS Provo Temple.
Fred loved sports, supporting the CHARGERS & PADRES. He loved playing basketball and cards, fishing, bowling and studying history. He was loved by many, especially for his sense of humor. He owned Great Clips in Pleasant Grove and worked with Deseret Industries. Fred was an active member of the LDS church who served a mission in Scotland.
Survived by his wife, children; Kerilyn (Kent) Taylor, Jason Burningham, Taylor T.J. Burningham, Jennilyn Burningham, a granddaughter Emmalyn, siblings; Gary Burningham, Robert Burningham, Richard Burningham and LaWana Marrs. Preceded in death by parents, 3 sisters; Lorraine, Dorothy and Sherry, 2 brothers; Dale and Rodney.
Funeral services will be held Monday, March 28, 2016 11:00 a.m. at Highland 16th Ward, 10962 North 6400 West, Highland, Utah. Viewings will be Sunday from 6-8 p.m. at Anderson & Sons Lone Peak, 6141 West 11000 North, Highland and Monday from 9:45-10:45 a.m. at the church prior to services.
