Ethel Woolsey

November 27, 1923 — March 8, 2018

Ethel Metcalfe Woolsey, 94, of American Fork, passed away March 8, 2018 in Orem, Utah.  Born November 27, 1923 in Talmage, Idaho the daughter of Samuel and Melissa Jane Woodland Metcalfe.  She married Fredrick Augusts Bresee they later divorced.  She married George Del Woolsey he preceded her in death.  Ethel retired from Utah State Developmental Center where she worked for 25 years.  She was active in the LDS Church and served a mission in the family history center.  She loved to quilt and made something special for all of her family.  Ethel was a very generous person who cared for and loved many people by sharing her time and talents.  Surviviors include:  her children Duane (Dora Jane) Bresee; Barbara (Paul) Jones; Randal (Derry) Bresee; Kent Bresee; Ben (Deanna) Woolsey; 27 grandchildren; many great and great great grandchildren.  She is preceded in death by her husband, George; son Marvin; a great grandson; and 6 siblings.  Funeral services will be held Saturday March 10, 2018 at 1:00 pm in the Anderson & Sons Mortuary Chapel, 49 East 100 North.  A viewing will be held Saturday from 11:45 to 12:45 pm prior to the services.  Burial in the Lehi Cemetery.
