Erline Lindberg
On June 22, 2022, Erline Gail Hamilton Lindberg, 65, unexpectedly passed away and returned to her Heavenly Father. Erline was born February 24, 1957 in El Monte, California, the second of five children born to Aaron Lamar Hamilton and Ursuline Virginia Sherbs. After spending her youth in La Crescenta, California, she attended BYU, where she met Paul Lindberg who would later become the love of her life. Years after meeting in Utah, Erline and Paul had a chance encounter at a church dance in the Los Angeles area where they began their courtship. Not long thereafter, they were married on July 5, 1980. They moved into their first home in the High Desert California city of Hesperia, where they welcomed three children into the world. Erline and Paul moved into their forever home in American Fork, Utah in 1986 when their children were still very young and there raised their family. Erline always said the happiest times in her life were when she was married to Paul and when she became a mother.
Erline loved crafting and spent many years doing crafts as a hobby before it became a way for both Paul and her to provide for their family. She often shared her creative gifts with others in the form of a handmade card which always included a personal, handwritten note. Perhaps her most remarkable and enduring trait was her big heart - Erline always found small, meaningful ways to serve others. She was a devoted wife and mother and loyal friend. Erline was faithful to the knowledge she had of the Restored Gospel of Jesus Christ and served in various ways in the Church throughout the years.
Erline is survived by her husband, Paul, a daughter, Deonne Chadwick, sons Geoff and Chuck, her brothers Alan Hamilton, David Hamilton, Dan Hamilton and 8 grandchildren. Her sister Marla Hamilton and another grandchild preceded her in death.
Her funeral will be held on July 7, 2022 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Chapel located at 455 E 300 N, American Fork, Utah beginning at 11:00 AM with viewing beginning at 9:30 AM. Another viewing will be held the night before (on July 6th) at Anderson & Sons Mortuary, 49 E 100 N, American Fork, Utah from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
The family wishes to express appreciation for your thoughts and expressions of sympathy.
