Elaine Rochelle Pleasant, left us on January 8, 2025, in Provo, Utah, at the age of 70. Born on May 6, 1954, in St. Louis, Missouri to Young Love and Lucille Pleasant. Elaine was a beacon of warmth and kindness to all who knew her.
Elaine was full of life and laughter. She was born and was raised in the south and you could hear it when she spoke with you. She would often refer to herself as a "Beautiful Southern Women". Elaine loved to participate in any and all activities, she especially loved crafts, her friends, pop, and going out for a "cheeseburger". Her favorite color was purple and she always wanted a purple pair of shoes. She would ask people if they had any purple shoes, but really she loved all shoes. She also loved being pretty with all of the nicest accessories, backpacks, purses and don't forget the make up. She was a beautiful lady who loved beautiful things. She also loved the TV show "I Love Lucy" and "Golden Girls", "dolla' bills" and "straight Coke."
When Elaine would go to her day program she knew exactly where to go. She considered her friends and staff at Key Residential and Danville family! She was always surrounded by many friends and was a bright spot in everyone's day.
Elaine is survived by her siblings: Arnold (Ann) Pleasant, Gale (Bruce) Griffin, and Eric Pleasant. She was preceded in death by her parents Young Love and Lucille and her grandparents: Emma Pleasant and William & Addie Morgan.
