Edna Newby

Edna Faye Hansen Huntsman Newby of Lehi, Utah passed away May 30, 2023 from causes incident to age. She was born April 17, 1933 to Thormod Alexander Hansen and Erma Conder in American Fork, Utah. She is survived by her seven children, Lorin David Huntsman, Kandie Jensen (Clayton), Jill Newby, Kevin Burns Newby, Brenda Joy Ford (Steven), Rebecca Ann Newby, and Miles A. Newby (Juli). She is preceded in death by her parents, her sister Helen, and her brother Sherrill, as well as her first husband, Lyman David Huntsman and her second husband of 32 years, Burns Robinson Newby, and a grandson, Shaun Huntsman. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Gabriel, Kiley, Amnesty, Cassandra, Chelsea, Devon, Sierra, Joshua, Camber, Destiny, Felicia, Tierca, Hailie, Sadilynn, Dylan, Brooklynn, Madison, Noah, and Kendra, and many lovely great grandchildren.

Mom was a sweetheart who always asked how you were and was so good to her family. She loved her coffee and nuts and was proud that she had most of her teeth left so she could enjoy eating them. She was employed at the American Fork Hospital working in the kitchen for many years and knew lots of people. She loved going to Wendover and talked often of her visits there. Faye is on to her next adventure but will be greatly missed. We love you mom!

A graveside service will take place on Saturday June 10, 2023 in the American Fork City Cemetery at 11:00 am. Please share a memory of Edna on her tribute wall.
