Douglas Cummings

Douglas Ray Cummings passed away Monday morning, February 13, 2017 due to complications from pneumonia. Born November 28, 1934, to John Douglas and Fern McDonald Cummings, in Heber City, Utah. He was raised in Heber and later attended both Weber and Utah State Universities, where he earned his bachelor's degree. He also served his country in the US Army from 1957 to 1963. He married the love of his life on October 10, 1957, and oh, what a beautiful love story they shared for 59 wonderful years. He was adored and loved by all, especially his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Survived by his wife: Joan Berg Cummings; sons: Michael Cummings; Steven (Laura) Cummings; Craig Cummings; David (Jen) Cummings; daughter: Julie (Doug) Cowley. 16 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Brothers: Don (Lynne) Cummings; Allen (Judy) Cummings; numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 18, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at the Anderson & Sons Funeral Home, 6141 West 11000 North, in Highland Utah 84003, with a viewing at 11:45 a.m. - 12:45 p.m. prior to the service. Interment at American Fork Cemetery.
