Donald Lee Woodhouse, age 95, formally of Littleton, Colorado, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on January 3, 2025. Born February 22, 1929 in Costa Mesa, California, he was the son of Elliott and Marion Almira Peel Woodhouse. He married Audrey Sitton June, 1948. They later divorced. He married Gay Weisenstein on January 16, 1982 in American Fork, Utah. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Denver LDS Temple. She preceded him in death on July 31, 2010.
Don was a building contractor and was known for his strong work ethic. He enjoyed jazz and big band music, movies, root beer freezes, bowling, football and all sports. He had a love of history. He enjoyed chartering planes and flying friends and family to many destinations.
Don is survived by children Bradley (Arlene) Woodhouse, Leanne (Charles) Larsen, Charles (Tammi) Woodhouse, Jennifer (Bill) Bushman, Karl (Sharel) Pond, 18 grandchildren, 65 great grandchildren and 15 and counting great-great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife Gay, his son Gregory Woodhouse, a daughter Denise Tanner, his parents and six siblings.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 18, 2025 at 11:00 am at the Anderson & Sons Mortuary Chapel, 49 East 100 North, American Fork, Utah. A viewing will be held at the mortuary from 9:45 to 10:45 am prior to the services. Burial will be in the Lehi City Cemetery, 1100 North 400 East.
