Donald Henry Kimble was born on January 21, 1932 to Frank Kimble and Ruby Catherine Weimer in Modesto, California. He was the fouth of five children. He was the remaining survivor of the children. He married Jane Margarett Hill on June 20, 1953. They had a son Donald Henry Kimble II in 1964. Don served in the Navy. He went on to use the skills he learned there to fix forklifts and any other machinery. He operated a pro shop in many different bowling centers from 1979 on. He made sure the equipment fit the bowler and their needs. Oftentimes he would aid in financing equipment to help bowlers on their journey. After retiring he applied to Walmart for a part time position and ended up being the head of maintenance for 15 years.

These leadership skills were on display throughout Don's life. He volunteered in the YMCA program for many years. He also volunteered in the youth bowling program. He was a personal coach to his son Don and they went on to compete in many tournaments together. He is in the Utah county bowling hall of fame alongside his wife Jane for their many years of service to the sport of bowling.

Don was very proud of his family and spending time with them. He was often seen camping, fishing, bbqing with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. After Jane passed he really looked forward to Monday night family dinner.

He is survived by his wonderful family. His son and his wife and their three beautiful children and five great grandchildren.

A private family viewing will be held Monday from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m with a memorial service Thursday, October 3rd at 11:00 a.m. held in the Anderson & Sons Mortuary, 49 east 100 North American Fork.
