Donald Hutchings

Donald James Hutchings, 44, of American Fork finished his final race and crossed the finish line December 2, 2021. He was born February 10, 1977 in Lehi, Utah to James Edwin Hutchings and Diane(Dee) Elaine Paupard. He grew up in the beauty of Montana where he learned to work hard on the family farm. Before moving back to Utah.
He found his human and married the love of his life Brooke Ann Jensen, June 21, 1997 in Lehi, Utah and their marriage was later solemnized in the Mt. Timpanogos Temple June 21, 2014.

Don was known to always be doing "Don things" which included cook outs for family and friends, teaching someone how to run with their heart to the finish line, running aid stations at ultra marathons, camping with family and scaring the crap out people at the Haunted Circus. His service to others was endless. And will always be cherished. His smile and laughter was contagious. He had a strong love for both his family and chosen family that couldn't be measured. He will be missed beyond measure.

He is survived by his wife, Brooke, children, Dakota Hutchings (Serenity Gray-Hutchings), Kolbe Hutchings, Russell Hutchings, granddaughter Luna, his parents James Edwin Hutchings, Dee Lohse (Ron Lohse) siblings Amber Hutchings, Kristal McKamey(Brandon) and John Lohse(Erica). And countless family and friends.

Funeral services will be held Thursday December 9, 2021 at 11:00 am in the American Fork South Stake Center, 239 East 1100 South American Fork, Utah. A viewing will be held Wednesday from 6 to 8 pm at the Anderson & Sons Mortuary, 49 East 100 North American Fork, Utah and Thursday from 9:45 to 10:45 am prior to the services at the church. He will be laid to rest in the American Fork Cemetery.
