Diane Monson Potter Allen Rimington, 72, passed away peacefully on December 22, 2024, at McKay-Dee Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was born on May 11, 1952, in American Fork, Utah, to Warren Smith Monson and Wanda Gwen Vorwaller, who preceded her in death.
Diane lived a life full of faith, love, and service to her family and community. She was first married to Jay Potter, with whom she had seven children: Lori Parry (Matt), Kevin Potter (Beth), Julie Ogden, Kenny Potter, Kirk Potter (Jackie), Jennifer McMahon (Todd), and Mary Huish (Nate). Her love extended to their spouses, and she found immense joy in her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In April 2024, Diane married her beloved husband, Kenneth Rimington, and they shared cherished memories in their brief time together. She was previously married to Ross Allen, her eternal spouse through their LDS temple sealing. Through her marriages to Ross and Ken, Diane expanded her role as a loving mother and grandmother.
Diane had a deep testimony of her faith and was a dedicated member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She found great joy and peace in her service as an LDS temple worker at the Mount Timpanogos Utah Temple, where she devoted herself to helping others make eternal covenants.
She is survived by her four siblings: Susan Hartman, Ed Monson, Don Monson, and Kathy Speakman.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 27, 2024, at the LDS Church located at 1152 North 400 West, American Fork, UT 84003.
