David Wilding Wall passed away on December 1, 2016 in American Fork, Utah. He was born May 20, 1960 to David and Dixie Wall, in Provo, Utah. He was a special boy who was dearly loved by his family. He had significant physical and mental disabilities but that never stopped him from allowing his loving personality to shine through.
He spent the last 50 years of his life living at the Utah State Developmental Center in American Fork, Utah. He was truly loved by all who knew him there. He loved to garden and was no respecter of weeds or plants, he'd pull them all! His greatest joy was to ride horses. Just like both of his grandfathers he was a true cowboy. Davy literally never sat still except when he was on a horse. He was riveted and was truly a sight to see!
Davy is survived by his father, David Francis Wall, and his eight siblings: Elizabeth Barton, Aaron Wall, Dallas Wall, Jason Wall, Emily Wall, Eric Wall, Marie Brown, and Carl Wall.
In his last hours, he was visited by many of his caregivers from the Developmental Center. They truly loved him and were a part of his family. We will forever be indebted to them for the loving care they gave him over the decades.
Davy passed away surrounded by his father and siblings. He went from our loving hands to the arms of his dear mother Dixie on the other side. He was preceded in death by his mother Dixie, his other mother Rosanne, and all of his grandparents. No doubt the reunion there was a joyful one! He will be truly missed here, but we know we will see him again and be taught by his example of fierce determination and perseverance to keep going.
Funeral services will be held Friday, December 9, 2016 at 11:00 am at the Developmental Center Ward Chapel, 835 N 900 E, American Fork, Utah. Friends may call at the church Friday, from 9:45-10:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment will be at the Orem City Cemetery. Condolences may be expressed at www.andersonmortuary.com.
