David was born on February 19, 1952 in Salinas, California to Henry and Thelma Phillips. David resided at the Utah State Developmental Center for many years, where he was loved by many. He will be greatly missed by his family in Apple Grove and all who knew him; in particular Natalie and the caregiver team who served David through the years.
David was a very fun person to be around. He enjoyed singing, being outdoors, and diet coke. He had always wanted to plant a peach tree. He was proud of how strong he was and loved to point to his muscles to show them off. He enjoyed bowling, movies, watching sports, projects, and crafts. He also enjoyed hiking, a good BBQ, gardening, and most of all helping people.
David leaves behind his siblings: Walter Phillips, Verda Phillips, and Debra Phillips to cherish his memories.
