David Cluff McBride having finished his earthly mission, returned to the arms of our loving Heavenly Father on June 25, 2017. David was born on February 7, 1965 to Gary Phil and Leisel Cluff McBride in Santa Monica, CA.
Because of the effects of German Measles David had significant physical & mental challenges. He was blessed to be in the constant loving care of his parents, extended family and many kind and patient caregivers throughout his life. He was a resident at the Utah State Developmental Center in American Fork, UT at the time of his passing.
Even with David's special needs we saw a mischievous, fun personality. Heaven help you if you tried to sit on his couch. He loved the individuals who worked with him and cared for him. He had a unique way of identifying them by touch and smell. He also loved music, mainly songs that had low rumbling tones that he was able to feel through vibrations. David personified love, patience, and endurance and taught his family the importance of these attributes.
He is preceded in death by his loving grandparents, his sisters Sherry Lynn McBride, and Darleis Nelson (who we have no doubt have taken him under their wings). He is survived by his parents, his brothers Kenneth (Lynnette), Clarence (Lori), and sister Starleen (Paulo) Blaser, and brother-in-law Karl (Kim) Nelson and numerous nieces and nephews and extended family.
A private family memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 1, 2017 at 10 a.m. at the Anderson & Sons Mortuary in American Fork, UT.
Interment will be at the Pima Cemetery in Pima, Arizona on July 5, 2017 at 9 a.m.
David's family wishes to thank all those unselfish caregivers who gave so much of their time and talents to bless David's life.
