Connie Gordon

Connie Ruth Mott Gordon was born July 7, 1942 and passed away on September 19, 2014 surrounded by her family. She was the daughter of Ruth and LeGrand Mott of American Fork. Connie spent much of her life in American Fork. She graduated from American Fork High School in 1960 and attended LDS Business College.
She also had fond memories of the year she lived in New York and worked as a nanny. Connie spent her working years as a beloved employee of Monson Insurance Company. She married Frank Hudson Gordon on November 10, 1972; although they were later divorced.
Connie was a faithful member of the LDS Church and served in many callings over the years. She was serving as a visiting teacher supervisor at the time of her death. Connie was a devoted friend and known to many as "a sweet lady".
Connie was blessed with two children; Kathleen Barton of American Fork and Ryan Gordon, who is stationed with the Navy in Virginia. Connie also had three grandchildren; Noah and Charity Barton and Griffin Gordon. She is survived in death by her children, grandchildren, and three brothers: Jay (Irene) Mott, Earl (Pat) Mott, and Randy (Diane) Mott.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday September 24, 2014 in the Orchard Hills Ward, 944 North 540 West, American Fork. Friends may call Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Anderson & Sons Mortuary, 49 East 100 North American Fork and Wednesday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the church prior to the services. Burial in the American Fork Cemetery.
