Our sweet loving Colby John Lynn passed away on December 29th, 2021.
Colby was born April 11, 1994, in Salt Lake City Utah, to Christian D Lynn and Christie (Park) Lynn. Colby's only sibling was his older brother Colton, they were born 14 months apart. Being so close in age their bond was strong from the beginning. They protected each other through their difficult times and supported each other in the best of times. They were always together - they played hard, rode motorcycles and ATVs, even sharing going off of a cliff on an ATV together. They played football and shared many common friends over the course of their lives. They enjoyed many activities and hobbies along the way. They were inseparable! Their father died when they were toddlers which strengthened that bond even more.
Colby attended West Jordan High school. At an early age, he loved to work independently and had an entrepreneurial mind always having new ideas which started with his lawn mowing business at the age of 14. Later he worked in the construction field. Colby's creativity led him to realize an artistic talent in art, sketches, and painting. At age 19 Colby married the love of his life, Katie Hammock. Later they divorced but remained best friends and companions. He loved his fur babies Cheeto, Dolla, and Bear. He took pride and loved training them and playing with them every opportunity he had. He always enjoyed being the one to make someone happy and laugh. Colby's fun-loving, playful and goofy personality will be sorely missed by his family and friends. When Colby lost Colton 5 years ago, he lost his best friend and the anchor in his life and had struggled ever since.
Colby is survived by his mother, Christie, his grandparents, Max and Gayle Park, Jack and
Maryann Lynn, Aunt Sheri Bromley (Sean), Aunt Marie Park, Aunt Holly Marley (Bryn), Aunt Logan Youngman (Matt), and 16 cousins. Colby is preceded in death by his father Christian and his brother Colton Lynn. Services will be held at Anderson & Sons Lone Peak Chapel located at 6141 W. 11000 N.
