Clifford (Cliff) Shaw

Clifford (Cliff) D Shaw, 86, loving father, grandfather, great grandfather, and brother passed away on November 25th, 2020 in American Fork, Utah.  Cliff was born October 23, 1934 in Venice, Utah to DeVere Shaw and Beatrice Sena Heath Shaw.  He married the love of his life Norma Henrie on July 5, 1958 in Lyman Utah.  They were sealed together with their children in the Provo Utah Temple on August 18, 1976.

Cliff enjoyed fishing, airplanes, and loved spending time with his family.  Cliff truly loved his wife, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, and always put family first.  He enlisted in the United States Air Force in 1952 as an Aircraft Mechanic and retired after 20 years of service in 1972.  During his service, Cliff spent time in North Africa, Okinawa, Laos, and other undisclosed parts of the world in support of the Vietnam conflict.  After retirement in 1972, Cliff relocated his family and returned to Utah where he settled down and became an auto mechanic.

Cliff is survived by his children: Charlene Hudson, Roy (Debbie) Shaw, brother Ronald J Shaw, 9 grandchildren 14 great grandchildren, a sister-in-law Gerrie Shaw, and multiple brother and sister in-laws from his loving wife’s side of the family.  He was preceded in death by his wife Norma, daughter Pamela Jo Shaw, son Clifford D Shaw Jr., brother Wesley F Shaw, sister Elaine Shaw, and his parents DeVere and Beatrice Shaw. Cliff is a great excellent example of love, dedication, trust, and loyalty, and he will be missed greatly.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, December 2, 2020 at 2:00 PM in the Utah Veterans Memorial Park, 17111 S. Camp Williams Rd,  Bluffdale, Ut.  A viewing will be held Wednesday from 12:30-1:30 PM at Anderson & Sons Mortuary, 49 East 100 North, American Fork please see the SignUp Genius link below to schedule a time to attend the visitation.  Please share a memory on Clifford’s tribute wall.
