Christine was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on October 23, 1955. Despite moving from Philadelphia to Provo as a young child, she always enjoyed visiting her grandparents throughout her youth. She spent summers in Philadelphia shopping at Redding Station with her grandmother, learning about masonry with her uncle, and cultivating and celebrating her strong Italian heritage.
Christine became an aunt at a young age and loved to play and travel with her nieces and nephews. Christine enjoyed growing up on Oak Lane in Provo, Utah and created many lasting friendships, including one special relationship with her sweetheart, Paul. Christine and Paul were married in the Provo temple in December 1975 and enjoyed 42 years of marriage together raising five children in Orem, Utah and later moved to Highland, Utah. They enjoyed traveling together throughout their marriage. Whether it was to the mountains, a sunny beach, or even their beautiful backyard, Christine loved being outdoors.
Those who know Christine best know her love of having a place for everything and everything in its place. Her strong organization skills and talents came from wanting to create a home where the spirit could dwell, where her family could function in peace and harmony and where others felt comfortable. She was a gracious host that enjoyed entertaining and cooking to make everyone always feel welcome in her home.
Christine always had a song stuck in her head, she loved to sing and had a beautiful talent of playing the piano. Christine used music throughout her life to love and serve others. She often had music playing in her home, she taught piano lessons for many years and developed a strong love of working with the children in the primary to bring music into their hearts. Christine was a beautiful writer and eloquent speaker, she always had the right words and the best advice with just the right combination of love and counsel. She was a loyal friend, an expert confidant, and a willing hand always ready to lift and help others.
Christine had the unique ability to find joy in any situation, but nothing brought her more happiness than her grandbabies. She always looked forward to the day when her grandchildren would call her "Nana." She eagerly anticipated the arrival of each grandchild and was always excited for their visits. She spoiled them with sweet treats, planned fun holiday parties, and created birthday surprises to make sure each grandchild felt special and loved.
Christine had a strong testimony of her Savior, Jesus Christ. She lived her life as a faithful Latter-day saint shared her testimony in special ways with friends and family throughout her life. she was our wife, mother, sister, and nana, but she will always be our angel.
