Chris Nicholes

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Chris Scott Nicholes, 61, Our beloved and kindhearted husband, father, brother, and friend passed away at home November 11, 2016. Born February 25, 1955 in Reno, Nevada, the son of Tracy Howard and Afton M Simpson Nicholes. He married Cheryl Huggard April 28, 1979 in Lehi, Utah.
Chris graduated from American Fork high school, and later obtained his bachelors in business administration. He worked for e-bay for the last 17 years in fraud investigation. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and his two German Shepherds especially when they could sit around a backyard bonfire. Chris had a contagious smile and a way to make everyone around him feel loved.
He is survived by his wife, Cheryl; his daughter, Jessica; two grandchildren, Holden and Afton Cordner; his siblings, Terry Rogers; Robert Nicholes(nan); and Suzanne Jones (Pete). He is preceded in death by his parents, his son Christopher; son-in-law Brandon Cordner; a brother Gene and his grandparents Howard and Hope Nicholes.
Funeral services will be held Friday November 18, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in the Anderson & Sons Mortuary Chapel, 49 East 100 North, Am. Fork. A viewing will be held Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. Burial in the American Fork Cemetery.
