Byron Karsch

Byron James Karsch, 52, of American Fork, Utah passed away after a long battle of lupus and recently lung cancer on October 5, 2018 in Provo, Utah.  Born June 26, 1966 in Salt Lake City, Utah.  The son of Peter Karl Karsch and Kathleen Denison.  He married his best friend and the love of his life, Marcella Kay Almond on January 7, 2018 in Lehi, Utah.
To say Byron was a sports fanatic would be an understatement.  NASCAR, Minnesota Vikings, Utah Utes and Jazz were some of his favorites.  He also loved RUSH, his Firebird (the bird), fishing, reading, and anything that had wheels.  Although born in Utah, Byron always considered Maui his home.
Survivors include his wife Marcella, his brother Jeffrey (Angelina) Karsch; his father Peter (Merideth); and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.  He is preceded in death by his mother Kathleen.
Services will be held on Friday, October 12, 2018 at 2pm in the Anderson & Sons Mortuary located at 49 East 100 North, American Fork, Utah. Friends may come and visit from 1:15 to 2:00 pm prior to the services.
