Billy Don Bishop Jr., 64, a loving husband, Father, grandfather, great-grandfather, dedicated crossing guard, and friend of everyone he met of Lehi, Utah passed away August 2, 2024, at his home.

He had many nicknames, such as Bigga Bill, Goodyear, Willard, Papa Billy, Coach and often mistaken for and called Andy Reid coach of the Kansas City Chiefs. He will be so missed and remembered for his contagious smile and his push-broom mustache. He was born July 17, 1960, in Salt Lake City, Utah to Billie Don Bishop and Arline Kay Johnson Bishop.

He married Cynthia Hardy August 22, 1983, she preceded him in death on August 10, 1987. He later married LuDean Colledge February 17, 1989, in Kearns, Utah.

Billy worked for Geneva Steel plant from 1989-2000 and made many friends. He had worked as a crossing guard for 11 years and 9 years at the Traverse Mountain Elementary watching many children grow up. He would often give the children nicknames and always made them smile. If you were speeding in the school zone, he would let you know. His passion was to keep everyone safe.

Billy loved many things, baseball, the outdoors especially hunting and fishing, talking to everyone about anything, working as a crossing guard and getting to know the many kids and families he met at the crosswalk. He especially loved his family, especially his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. You could find him at a random baseball game cheering on both teams. He was a dedicated coach to not only his grandchildren but to all players on the field. He never missed a day of checking in with his family, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Survivors include: his wife LuDean, children, Aliesha (Harlan) Nielson, Richard Daley, 4 grandchildren, Tanner, Dalton, Maddie, Brayden and 4 great grandchildren, Makynleigh Ann, Berkley Mae, Easton Craig and Walker Lloyd and siblings Brenda Wanlass, Renae Labrune, and Mike Bishop
