Beverly Ann (Malmgren) Howlett
June 11, 1941 — July 13, 2024
We mourn the passing and celebrate the life of Beverly Ann Malmgren Howlett, a cherished sister, wife, mother and grandmother. She passed away on July 13, 2024, in American Fork, UT at the age of 83. Born on June 11, 1941, in Levan, UT to Cleo and Faye Malmgren, Beverly led a life filled with love, faith and devotion to her family. She dedicated herself to her role as a homemaker, raising her six children, 4 girls, 2 boys and nurturing them with unwavering love.
Beverly attended school in Levan and later high school in Nephi, Utah. She married the love of her life, Delmar Ray Howlett on July 5, 1958 at their Levan home. A sacred ceremony at The Manti Temple later followed on April 17. 1965. Together, they continued to build a life centered around family values and faith. They recently celebrated their 66th wedding anniversary.
Throughout her life, Beverly found solace and joy in simple pleasures. She always loved playing the piano, was a seamstress, adorning her loved ones with handmade clothing. She was also accomplished in the kitchen with cooking, baking and canning. She found adventure and peace in nature's beauty. She loved traveling and camping. She enjoyed numerous trips with family including the Carribean, Alaska, Niagra Falls, and finally made it to her dream location-Hawaii in 2022.
She shared her time and talents with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving in various capacities, touching the lives of many and dearly loved serving a full-time mission with her husband and spoke often of playing the piano in different settings.
Beverly's unwavering faith, and legacy of love will forever be remembered in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her. May she rest in eternal peace.
Left to cherish her memory are her beloved husband, Delmar Ray Howlett; children, Karla (Dan) Goudy, Kathy (Trent) Whitesides, Karen (Fraser) Macfarlane, Kristelle (Bret) Hampton, Justin (Melissa) Howlett, Jared (Becky) Howlett. 22 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren, brother and sisters, Ed Malmgren (Carlene), Renae Hicks. She joins her parents Eric Cleo and Faye Malmgren and 2 sisters Donna (Ted) Jones, Sharleen (Glen) Jarrett in eternal peace.
A viewing will be held from 8:30-9:30am previous to the funeral service honoring Beverly's life held at 10 a.m. on Sat, July 27, 2024, at the 30th Ward building 270 N 900 E American Fork.
