Betty LaRue Whitehead, 85, passed away on March 6, 2016 in Orem, Utah. Born on January 24, 1931 in Wattis, Utah to Rueben Rex and Mary Dorothy Adams Dimick. She married Stephen Olpin Whitehead on August 4, 1950 in American Fork.
Survived by her children; Cheryl (Joel) Adams, Stephen R. Whitehead, Kyle (Mary) Whitehead, 8 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents, brothers and her husband.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 9, 2016 9:00 a.m. at Anderson & Sons Mortuary, 49 East 100 North, American Fork. Viewing will be Tuesday, March 8, 2016 from 6-8 p.m. and on Wednesday from 8:00-9:00 prior to services. Interment at American Fork Cemetery.
