Eternal Love, Together Again
Betty Jane Johnson, 83, passed away September 2, 2014 in Alpine, Utah.
Betty was born in Allentown, Pennsylvania to Jesse and Maude Lewis on June 10, 1931. She was a loving daughter and a caring sister to seven siblings. She married and adored her late husband, Francis Bernell Johnson.
Betty is survived by fourteen children; Jessie Wheeler, Pamela Cohen, Alison Chuntz, Christopher Cowden, Evan Johnson, Lisa Johnson, Melinda Clark, Aaron Johnson, Wendy Smith, Lisbeth Carter, Christopher Johnson, Dan Johnson, Randy Johnson and Mike Johnson. She also leaves a grand legacy of forty-five grandchildren and forty-two great grandchildren.
Betty was an example of love and grace. As a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Betty amplified the teachings and love of our Savior and walked by faith. As an artist and in life, Betty left a beautiful impression on everything and everyone she touched.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 6, 2014 at 1 p.m. in the Anderson & Sons Mortuary Chapel, 49 East 100 North, American Fork. A viewing will be held from 11:45 a.m. -12:45 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will be in the Provo Cemetery.
