Bertha Merrill

Bertha May Skinner Merrill, 90, passed away April 15, 2018 in American Fork, Utah. She was born December 24, 1927 to Otto Ulysses and Bertha May Wolz Skinner in Kingman, Arizona. She married Dwain Collette Merrill in 1943 in Kingman, Arizona. Their marriage was later solemnized in 1952 at the Mesa Arizona Temple.
Bertha's greatest love was for her family in every generation. She was loved by her Heavenly Father and was active in the LDS church and served a family history mission.
She is survived by her children: David (Marisol) Merrill, Jetta Merrill, Stephen Merrill, Colletta (Larry) Cook, 37 grandchildren, 81 great-grandchildren, and 7 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, 3 children: Priscilla, Roy, and Spencer, 2 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and her siblings Otto Jr. and Annabelle.
Funeral services will be held Saturday April 28, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in the American Fork East Stake, 825 East 500 North, American Fork. A viewing will be held from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. before the funeral.
