Barbara Parry

Barbara Ann Patton Parry, of Lehi, Utah passed away July 9, 2022.

Barbara Patton Parry, 81, passed away on July 9, 2022 after a long battle with dementia.  She was born April 29, 1941 in Twin Falls Idaho, to William (Bill) Martin Patton and Sylvia Ardella Offret.  She married Orvil J Parry June 24, 1960 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.  Barbara was a talented cook, she loved to get outside and walk enjoying nature and the people she met.  Her joy was her family and she loved being a grandmother.  Barbara was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and served in many callings over her lifetime.  She especially loved serving as a temple worker with her husband in the Utah Mt. Timpanogos Temple.  Barbara was active with a group of ladies who worked in disaster relief for over 10 years and knitted over 1200 caps for newborn infants.

Survivors include her husband, Orvil, children: Michele Parry, Vaughn J. (Connie) Parry, Tanya (Monte) Searle, Alissa (Mark) Davis, 13 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, and two brothers Bill and Don Patton.  She is preceded in death by her parents, and her son Brent J. Parry.  Services will be held Wednesday July 13, 2022 at 2:00 pm in the Orem City Cemetery, 1520 North 800 East Orem, Utah. Please share a memory on Barbara's tribute wall.
