Anna Bryner

Greatly missed, but happily remembered.
Anna Louise Armstrong Bryner passed away peacefully in her home on December 1, 2014.
She was born in Ephraim, Utah, May 7, 1939 to Roger C. Armstrong and Phyllis Rasmuson Armstrong. She spoke fondly of her carefree childhood in Ephraim with dear friends and family.
After graduating from Manti High School, she received a degree in Elementary Education from the University of Utah. She was a member of Mu Phi Epsilon, Lambda Delta Sigma, University Orchestra, Spurs, Cwean, and Delta Delta Delta.
Louise married Jerald Bitner Bryner in the Salt Lake Temple on December 21, 1961. She taught school while Jerry finished his degree in medicine from the University of Utah. They later moved to Southern California where Jerry completed his residency in radiology. His life was tragically taken in a car accident in December 1965. They had three children.
Louise married Donald E. Bybee in August 1970, and was blessed with three more children.
Always active in the LDS Church, she served as a teacher in Relief Society, Primary president, Young Women's president, ordinance worker in the Dallas Temple, and served a part-time mission at the Dallas Bishop's Storehouse. She also taught school in Dallas from 1985 until 2002 and worked at American Airlines for 10 years.
Louise battled her long illness with courage and optimism. She cherished her rose and raspberry gardens, beautiful music, learning and teaching, and spending time in her lovely home. Her greatest love and legacy are her six children, Diana Davis (David), Robert J. Bryner (Julie), Jerry R. Bryner (Lydia), Heather Elmburg (Eric), Jennifer Sizemore (Brian), and Suzie McKenzie (Jamie). She was blessed with 24 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a brother Fred (Laura) Armstrong, and three sisters, Mitzi Osbourne (Ken), Ruth Lambert (Cal), and Jean Campbell (John).
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at the American Fork Stake Center, 240 South Center Street.
A viewing will be held Friday, December 5 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Anderson & Son's Mortuary, 49 East 100 North in American Fork and Saturday from 9:45-10:45 a.m. at the church prior to the services. Burial will be in the Salt Lake City Cemetery.
