Anna Alcoser

Anna “Annie” tenBerge Alcoser was a loving daughter, sister, mother, wife, grandmother, sister-in-law, and friend. On February 9, 2023, this beautiful soul departed this world, to return home to Our Father in Heaven.

Anna was born to Theodore tenBerge and Anna Wortche on January 4, 1952 in Hoboken, New Jersey. She graduated from Hoboken Junior Senior High School in 1969 and then for a time studied nursing. 

Anna is survived by her four children Ted, Matt, Anna, and George, along with twelve wonderful grandchildren. In addition, she has touched countless people across her life, who think of her as their mom. 

Anna’s natural way to connect with people is what made her special. She was brave, caring, honest, loving, and most of all genuine. Her magnanimous passion in showing love followed by big warm hugs to those that need it, is what made her a mother figure to many. Her humor was infectious as she did not hold anything back and would tell you things the way they were, even if you did not want to hear it. Anyone who had the honor to meet Anna knew they were a better person because of her. It was her gift that she shared with this world.

In honor of her memory, we invite you to join us in celebrating the life of this beautiful soul. A memorial service is scheduled for 3:00 pm (MST) on Friday, February 17, 2023 at Anderson and Sons Mortuary (49 East 100 North, American Fork, UT 84003). Live streaming of this celebration will be available and the link will be posted on this page. On behalf of her family, we thank you all for the outpouring of prayers and support you have shown us.
