Anita Perkins

Anita Mary Pratt Perkins, age 82, passed away in her home in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was born September 26, 1937 in Oregon to Louis Gorham Pratt and Amalia DeBoer Pratt. She married her high school sweetheart, Dan Perkins on September 1, 1956 in Adrian, Oregon and have been married for 63 years.

Anita’s pride and joy were her children and grandchildren. She loved genealogy and family history and telling stories especially about her ancestors. Her talents included feeding large groups of people, sewing and crocheting.  She loved to make crocheted hats for everyone. She was gifted in alternative medicine and natural healing, a great herbalist, and an exceptional artist. She loved to draw.

She is survived by her husband Dan, her six children: Daniel, Jana (John), Susan (Damien), Laura (Ken), Jacob (Mellinda) and Adam (Stephanie), 20 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
