Amy Joye Allred passed away on January 4, 2019 in American Fork, UT. She was born on September 19, 1952 in Ogden, UT to Joseph Thomas Johnson and Joye Bramwell.
Amy always had an incredible gumption for life. She worked as a special needs Caretaker and Coordinator. She had an exceptional love for, and dedication to her clients. She loved to learn and gained an education in many fields. She grew up in Japan and loved everything about the Japanese culture. She could play a Koto and the guitar. She had many hobbies like skiing, kayaking, crafting and crochet. She had great fashion sense and thoroughly enjoyed everything about being a woman. Her favorite song was "Uptown Girl" by Billy Joel, and her favorite food was ice cream. Above all else, her greatest joy was spending time with her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her former husband/continued friend and confidant David J. Allred, and her children: Sara Hubbs, J. David (Larissa) Allred, Joe Allred, Melissa Allred, and 4 grandchildren (Cadance, London, Mason, Aria).
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, January 16th, 2019 at 1:00 PM at Jeremiah's Restaurant (banquet room) 1307 W 1200 S St, Ogden, UT 84404. Followed by an inurnment at the old Ogden Cemetery, where Amy's urn will be laid to rest with her mother and family.
