Ada Chiaretta Scott passed away on April 21, 2018 at the age of 94 due to natural causes. She was born January 13, 1924 in Price, Utah to Henry and Catherine Chiaretta. She married Hugh Vernon Scott June 14, 1943.
During WWII Ada was one of the many women that were known as "Rosie the Riveter" in the San Diego, California area. She assembled the B-17 and B-24 bombers that helped win the war.
She is survived by four children. Jackie Mathie, Lake Oswego, Oregon, Bill (Christine) Scott, Midvale, Joan (Darrell) Jakeman, Sandy, Janet (Jerry) Johnston, Sandy. Eight grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren one great great grandchild, and two brothers Jack and Lewis Chiaretta.
